Why not live where the weather’s the best? Statistics prove that Whakatane’s weather is amongst the best in NZ. With some of the highest sunshine hours in the country and almost 76% of it’s rain falling at night, Whakatane has its own little micro climate.

A narrower temperature band ensures you’ll be warmer in winter and cooler in summer. You won’t get blown about at Coastlands either. We have a relatively wind free climate and enjoy light off shore breezes for a good part of the year.
