Community

Coastlands has a country feel about it with a great community spirit.

Safe & Secure

Many residents have commented that they feel safe and secure at Coastlands. They know their children are being brought up in a safe environment but with plenty of freedom to enjoy life. With the beach, reserves, playgrounds and school facilities, children have lots of space to play.

Our residents say ...

"Coastlands is great for children. They socialise in a way which rarely happens in other areas. You feel safe out here. A special community."

"The community security of the sixties in the madness of the new millennium."

Good Housing

Superior Housing Standards

The realistic building covenants guarantee a continuing good standard of housing and secure neighbourhood, giving you peace of mind about your investment.

Read through our Building Covenants to find out how your interests and those of your neighbours are protected at Coastlands.

Good Schools

Coastlands children are better off than most. Your children can either be bused directly to good Whakatane schools or cycle via the walking/cycle track into town.

Coastlands young children also have the option of attending the Coastlands Early Childhood Learning Centre located on-site in Fishermans Drive.  The Coastlands Early Childhood Learning Centre provides an excellent environment for the development of children two years and over.
